Expert of International humanitarian law and international relations, experienced strategist and policy maker with 26-years-tenure in state institutions, including holding managerial positions for about 15 years in the field of asylum law, migration law, security, foreign relations, development, integration/inclusion of groups with diverse ethnic, cultural, religious and socio-economic backgrounds. Awarded with an Order of Honor by President of Georgia.



Dr. Kokaia is a leading counselor/adviser for foreign nationals regarding the issues related to asylum, residency and citizenship in Georgia.
